This 15-year-old single malt has been bottled by independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of their First Edition series. Distilled in 2007 at Tamdhu in Speyside, this expression has been matured for 15 years in a sherry butt. Bottled in 2022 at a cask strength of 60.6% abv, just 632 of these bottles were filled. The dram is free from artificial colouring and chill filtration.
The nose is decadent with sumptuous forest berries and sherry-soaked oak. The palate brings raspberries, plums, and butterscotch. The finish is spicy with cinnamon and crystallised ginger.
