Glenallachie 11 Year Palo Cortado Sherry 48%ABV ^Sale

11 year old Palo Cortado Sherry Cask Matured

Palo Cortado is the rarest style of Sherry, combining the aromatic finesse of Amontillado with the structure and richness of Oloroso. It develops when the ‘flor’ yeast layer naturally fades on a wine that was initially intended to become a Fino.

Using puncheons and hogshead casks that previously held this exceptional Sherry, the whisky develops a beautifully layered character, with notes of ripe plums, dark mocha and warming cinnamon spice.

We proudly present The Wood Collection at a high strength of 48% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing the unique character to shine through.
