Tamdhu Batch Strength (Batch 6) 56.8% ^Sale

A rich Speyside whisky, Tamdhu produces a full flavoured spirit that works well in sherry casks. This is the 6th release of their Batch Strength series, aged in mainly 1st fill Oloroso sherry casks, with a small amount of 2nd fill Oloroso sherry casks. Official Tasting Notes On the nose, fresh spiciness from the oak is followed by roasted nuts and warming vanilla. A rich palate follows; summer berry pudding with a dollop of crème anglaise. A drop of water brings orange, lemon and a whisper of oak spice.
